How does GarageWorks operate / offer services?
- GarageWorks is a service platform for two-wheelers, that offers various kind of
services to customers in their parking.
- GarageWorks’ value proposition is to offer customers the convenience of
servicing and/or repairing their two-wheelers from the comfort of their home.
The proposition is backed by provision of skilled technicians, genuine spares
and a 30-day workmanship warranty.
Where do you provide services?
Except for Reboot (reviving your unused vehicle) & Accidental Repairs, 95% of the
services are provided to customers in their parking (images). The 2% cases where we
pick & drop the vehicle are repairs where we need to open up the suspension, gearbox
or the engine.
Which all vehicles do you service / cater to?
- GarageWorks caters to all the models across Hero, Honda, Suzuki, TVS, Yamaha,
Bajaj, Royal Enfield, Mahindra, Piaggio, Aprilia, KTM.
- However, vehicles which do not have a centre / main stand cannot be serviced /
repaired at home. For e.g., Honda CBR, Bajaj Pulsar RS200, Bajaj Dominar, Yamaha
R15, Royal Enfield Interceptor etc.
What if the mechanic doesn't come after I have paid the advance?
- We have a dedicated Operations unit that keeps a track on all cases and mechanic
status.
- If the mechanic doesn’t come, then our team would contact you to explain
the circumstances and request for another date & time slot
- You can choose to either reschedule the appointment or else request to cancel
and refund the advance paid.

Where is the garage / service centre?
GarageWorks does not have a garage or service centre. 95% of the services are
delivered to customers in their parking at their doorstep (home)
If the vehicle requires major repair, where do you perform the service?
- In case of major repairs, where the vehicle cannot be repaired at home /
doorstep, the vehicle is repaired at either the GarageWorks Hub or an authorized
partner garage (whichever is closer to your location).
- In either case, whether the vehicle is repaired at the GarageWorks Hub or
partner garages, GarageWorks takes complete ownership on the quality of repairs
which includes
- Providing 30-day workmanship warranty
- Use of Genuine Spares
- Time to time status updates
- In case of major repairs, customers are charged for towing the vehicle if the
vehicle is not in a working condition
What happens after a booking is taken?
- Once you have booked the service, you shall receive a confirmation message via
WhatsApp and Email
- Within 24 hours, our technical advisor will call you (from a landline number
020-7117XXXX).
- The call is to understand your service requirements and vehicle condition
better. Basis the conversation, the technical advisor prepares the jobcard.
- After the jobcard is prepared, a mechanic is assigned to your case and the
spares are dispatched to the mechanic
- On the day of service, you will receive a notification that the mechanic is on
his way and another notification when the mechanic reaches your location.
- The mechanic will only call you once he reaches your location.
What is doorstep visit fee?
The doorstep visit fee is charged for multiple reasons:
- To cover up the administrative costs incurred towards supply chain of spares for
your appointment
- To cover up the travelling expenses of the mechanics
- To prevent customers from cancelling at the last minute due to non-availability
Do you provide services in office / commercial complex?
Yes, but you will be required to take the necessary approvals from the admin /
security of your office complex.
Is the doorstep visit fee refundable?
The doorstep visit fee is not refundable once the mechanic is on his way to your
location during the allotted timeslot.
How skilled are your mechanics? Are they trustworthy?
- Mechanics on GarageWorks platform come with a varied experience. However, every
mechanic before getting assigned to live cases goes through a rigid technical
assessment, a 7-90 day on-campus training and completion of 100 vehicle services
(that belong to GarageWorks employees, partners & enrolled patrons)
- Every mechanic on GarageWorks platform has undergone police verification process
- Every mechanic on GarageWorks platform is tested and continuously monitored for
behaviour management
Does GarageWorks provide pick & drop service?
GarageWorks’ primary model is to service / repair the two-wheeler at customer’s doorstep. Pick & Drop service are provided only if the vehicle undergoes a Reboot or Major Repairs
