What all services do you provide?
- Periodic Maintenance: Regular servicing for vehicles in a working condition
- Repairs: Meant for
- o fixing any nagging issue in the vehicle;
- o availing any part replacement at doorstep;
- Reboot: To revive your vehicle which has not been used / not in working
condition. This service is offered on a quotation-based model. To receive a

- Accidental Repairs: Meant for repairing your vehicle damaged due to an accident
- General Inspection: To inspect your vehicle in case if you don't understand
what's wrong with the vehicle or if your vehicle is not in a working condition
- Battery Replacement: You can opt for a hassle-free battery replacement at
doorstep.
- Battery Inspection: Inspect your vehicle battery at doorstep and get a
recommendation on whether you need a battery replacement or charging.
- Tyre Replacement: You can opt for a hassle-free tyre replacement at doorstep.
- Others: If you have any other queries regarding your service requirements,

- Services we do not provide: Bike Modification, Duplicate Key, Bike Spa
What is bike servicing?
Periodic Maintenance / Servicing is a pre-defined list of touch-ups / check-ups /
activities performed by our technician to ensure
- Your vehicle is in a smooth working condition
- The wear & tear parts are not worn out that could result in possible accident
- Critical components are not in a condition to fail which could result in
breakdown and consequential losses.
What is included in servicing?
Here is what GarageWorks offers as a part of servicing checklist
- Check Engine oil levels & density. Replace if needed
- Check Air filter condition. Clean it. Replace if cannot be cleaned
- Check Spark Plug condition. Clean it. Adjust the gap. Replace if worn out
- Check Gear Oil (for scooters). Top-up if needed
- Check Brake Oil levels, Master Cylinder & Piston seal (for disc brakes).
Top-up if needed
- Check Oil Filter condition (if applicable). Clean it. Replace if cannot be
cleaned
- Check Suspension condition for leakage and functioning. Make adjustments if
possible. Lubricate it, if making sound. Check using test drive if fork is bent.
- Check Engine Tuning / Idling conditions. Adjust settings if needed or customer
complaints of low mileage
- Check Headlamp, Tail Lamp & Indicator functioning condition. Adjust
positioning to set focus right
- Check all Electricals, Switches& Horn if working fine. Adjust switches &
wiring. Use anti-corrosion spray to displace moisture and prevent rusting.
- Check all nuts & bolts. Tighten wherever needed and check for vibrations if
any. Use anti-corrosion spray where signs of rusting visible
- Conduct general lubrication of all moving parts
- Check chain condition. Adjust if needed. Tighten if loosened. Grease it for
smooth functioning
- Check Throttle (Acceleration). Check for issues. Fix the fuel flow if needed.
Fix / Replace accelerator cable if needed.
- Check Brake Lever and assess the brake cable condition. Tighten if needed.
Replace if cannot be tightened.
- Check Gear shifting / Clutch condition. Replace Clutch Cable if needed
- Adjust carburettor setting (subject to customer complaints)
- Wash the vehicle
- Check Brake (Liner, Drum, Shoe, Pad) Condition. Clean it. Replace if worn out or
making sound.
- Check Speedometer assembly if all indicators are working
fine
- Check if Choke working fine
- Check if Wheel vibration present / wobbling (during test
drive)
Beyond the list, any spares / consumables used or repairs performed are over and
above the scope of servicing
What is the difference between different periodic maintenance packages?
- Standard Service: Covers the workmanship of performing the above schedule as is.
It's best suited for those who service their vehicle every 3-4 months.
- Comprehensive Service: Along with Standard Service, it also covers the cost of
Engine Oil (Mineral), Air Filter, Spark Plug, Gear Oil (if applicable), Brake
Oil (if applicable). It's best suited for scooters or motorcycles (less
than 150 cc) those who haven't serviced their vehicle for more than 4
months or have a monthly running of more than 1000 kms.
- Premium Service: Along with Standard Service, it also covers the cost of Engine
Oil (Synthetic Blended), Air Filter, Spark Plug, Gear Oil Top-up, Brake Oil
Top-up, Premium Chain Spray & Engine Oil Additive. It's best suited
for motorcycle owners who prefer a premium experience.
What are the charges for servicing?
The charges for servicing depend on your city, make & model of the vehicle. However,
below is a brief indication:
- Standard Service: The Standard Service package is offered ‘FREE’
across all cities and make / models. All consumables / spares & repairs
performed are charged additional at actuals.
- Comprehensive Service: Charges start at ₹750
- Premium Service: Charges start at ₹850
My vehicle has not been used for months. How will you fix this at the doorstep?
Thank you for reviving your first love! If your vehicle has not been used for months,
97% chances that it cannot be fixed at doorstep. We treat this as Major Repairs and
tow the vehicle to our repair hub. But here is how it works,
- We first request you to book a General inspection visit
- Our technician during the visit tries and attempts to start the vehicle through
some basic fixes. If the vehicle is brought to working condition, then a
detailed inspection is done for which the quotation to revive your vehicle will
be emailed to you within 24 hours (after it has been reviewed by our central
service team)
- If the vehicle cannot be brought to a working condition, then the vehicle is
towed to our hub where the vehicle is opened up completely for assessment. The
quotation is shared with you within 48 hours from the time of picking-up the
vehicle.
How do you wash the vehicle?
We wash the vehicle using a foam wash liquid. Your support is required to provide
1.5-2 litre water to our technician for this.
I want a pressure wash; do you offer that?
We regret the inconvenience, but we do not offer a pressure wash as a part of our
service packages. You will have to visit a washing centre for pressure wash.
My vehicle needs additional repairs. How will you service?
We do understand that every vehicle at the time of service has some nagging issues
because of which one thinks of getting it serviced 😉
- When you are booking a service, you will be asked for Specific Complaints
whereby you are requested to type and search for specific problems you are
experiencing with your vehicle.
- If in case, your problem is not listed, type in all your concerns in the
Comments box. Our team will come prepared with the right set of tools &
spares. As per our track record, in 86% cases we have been able to fix this
problem in the first visit itself. If not, then a follow-up visit is scheduled
immediately
What if I first want to inspect my vehicle and then decide to service it based on the quotation?
Sure, you can opt for the General Inspection service and fill-up the comments box with your expectations. Our technician will inspect the vehicle and in 24 hours from the time of inspection, you shall receive a detailed quotation on email.
Does GarageWorks provide pick & drop service?
GarageWorks’ primary model is to service / repair the two-wheeler at customer’s doorstep. Pick & Drop service are provided only if the vehicle undergoes a Reboot or Major Repairs
