How to book a service?
You can book a service through the following:
What are the charges for servicing?
The charges for servicing depend on your city, make & model of the vehicle.
However, below is a brief indication:
- Standard Service: The Standard Service package is offered ‘FREE’
across all cities and make / models. All consumables / spares & repairs
performed are charged additional at actuals.
- Comprehensive Service: Charges start at ₹750
- Premium Service: Charges start at ₹850
When do I get the service if I book today?
The availability of the service slot is on first come first serve basis. When you are
booking a service, you will be shown all the available slots and you can choose the
preferred date & time.
We usually provide slots on a 18-24 hour TAT basis so that our team can prepare your
jobcard and arrange for the necessary spares to ensure your vehicle is serviced /
fixed completely.
What happens after a booking is taken?
- Once you have booked the service, you shall receive a confirmation message via
WhatsApp and Email
- Within 24 hours, our technical advisor will call you (from a landline number
020-7117XXXX).
- The call is to understand your service requirements and vehicle condition
better. Basis the conversation, the technical advisor prepares the jobcard.
- After the jobcard is prepared, a mechanic is assigned to your case and the
spares are dispatched to the mechanic
- On the day of service, you will receive a notification that the mechanic is on
his way and another notification when the mechanic reaches your location.
- The mechanic will only call you once he reaches your location.
I have made the payment, but I have not received booking confirmation
We are sorry for the inconvenience, this at times happens due to some technical
glitches in our connection with the payment gateway. In such case, please send an
email to info@garageworks.in and your issue
shall be resolved within 48 working hours.
Do you provide services instantly (or) on the same day?
No, currently we do not provide services instantly or on the same day. Because once a
booking is made, there is a team of expert simultaneously working to ensure that
- Your requirements are understood
- Your case is assigned to the right skilled mechanic
- The necessary spare parts are arranged for the mechanic to complete the service
with satisfaction
My vehicle make / model is not in the list. How do I get it added?
Oops! We usually keep our make & model list updated. In case your make / model is
not in the list, it's probably because we don't offer services for the
specific make & model.
There are 3 reasons why we wouldn't offer services for a specific make
& model
- Reason 1: Your specific make/model is outdated and spares are not easy to
procure
- Reason 2: Your specific make/model doesn't have a centre stand because of
which services cannot be offered at doorstep
- Reason 3: Our mechanics are not rightly trained to handle your specific make /
model
What if the mechanic doesn't come after I have paid the advance?
- We have a dedicated Operations unit that keeps a track on all cases and mechanic
status.
- If the mechanic doesn't come, then our team would contact you to explain
the circumstances and request for another date & time slot
- You can choose to either reschedule the appointment or else request to cancel
and refund the advance paid.

How skilled are your mechanics? Are they trustworthy?
- Mechanics on GarageWorks platform come with a varied experience. However, every
mechanic before getting assigned to live cases goes through a rigid technical
assessment, a 7-90 day on-campus training and completion of 100 vehicle services
(that belong to GarageWorks employees, partners & enrolled patrons)
- Every mechanic on GarageWorks platform has undergone police verification process
- Every mechanic on GarageWorks platform is tested and continuously monitored for
behaviour management
